It was on a day like today, August 31, in 1920, that the first declaration of the rights of people of African descent was adopted in New York. Commemorating this historic event, last year the General Assembly, under the initiative of Costa Rica, declared this as the International Day for People of African Descent.

Bulalo and Spaghetti and Cupcakes
I made bulalo soup last year. Check out what I made. Once I got back to Red Bluff from Rivas, Nicaragua. I decided to try to learn how to cook more. Bulalo is a very yummy Filipino dish.
Here are the ingredients I used.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour 50 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours
Servings: 4
Check out this awesome angel hair pasta spaghetti I made. It’s really easy to make. I just boil angel hair pasta and use pasta sauce from a jar.
Check out the yummy cupcakes I baked. I put premade buttercream icing that came in a can on top of chocolate.

it wasn’t an easy day or my best but I got through it. I truly do feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders at times. I know I brush it off and make it seem like pressure doesn’t affect me but damn sometimes it’s hard hahaha! The Olympics is no joke! BUT I’m happy my family was able to be with me virtually🤍 they mean the world to me!
